Skills are basically abilities that one is able to preform which might require Shinsoo or are well above the natural capabilities of the inhabitants of the tower. You use SP in order to obtain these skills which are rewarded by various methods. Every level of the tower rewards it's inhabitants with two points though upon ascent. Because of this fact one can learn how to become very strong. A general rule is that on the application everyone starts off with 4 if you start on the second floor. Even before the first floor certain characters shall gain some extra SP. The three special character types however will be given a few extra SP upon character creation as they are naturally going to be stronger than the average person. Irregulars will start with an extra five SP, Zahard Princesses will get an extra three, and Human Ignition Weapons will get an extra two. All skill levels are out of 10.

FIRST FLOOR ABILITIES - ENHANCED STRENGTH: Your strength is above that of a normal person. You probably have a large physique and can lift many heavy objects.
- ENHANCED SPEED: You are faster than the average person, you might be light on your feet or just small. You can be large and fast, but man you gotta work!
- ONE ROOM CONTROL: You are at the basic understand of Shinsoo Control. You can control a single room worth of Shinsoo. This is required to use any Shinsoo techniques.
- ENHANCED SHINSOO RESISTANCE: When being attacked by Shinsoo moves, your natural defenses protect you more than the average person.
- ENHANCED PHYSICAL RESISTANCE: Physical attacks do less damage to you than the average person.

SECOND FLOOR ABILITIES
general - STRONG ATTACK: An attack which bears a strong force (shinsoo or physical) which can deal more damage than the average strike, can only be employed twice in a battle. (This can equal an attack that is used by someone with strength higher than yours)
- FIRST ATTACK: This is a basic technique that can be employed with any other technique in tandem. Your speed is great enough to be first to attack at the beginning of a battle, even if they "attacked first".
- BASIC SENSOR: A special skill which allows the user to sense the presence of others based off of Shinsoo. This ability is only extended a few hundred feet from the user but allows them to know where enemies are without the needs of lights.
- BASIC PHYSICAL COMBAT: You have learned the basics of hand to hand combat and can hold your own in a fight if you were ever disarmed or prefer fighting this way. You're still a novice though, wont be doing anything too advanced.
- SHINSOO HARDENING LVL 1: A technique which involves allowing the shinsoo in and around your skin harden so that you might be able to defend against a single attack of the same level or allowing you to enhance the strength of a single attack. This technique is the best of both worlds offensively and defensively but can only be used once during a thread and is actually quite taxing.
[REQUIRES ENHANCED SHINSOO RESISTANCE AND ONE ROOM CONTROL]
- ATTACK VOLLEY: A basic technique which involves several strikes against an enemy. With weapons or with your bare hands and feet you will be able to send a quick volley of at least five attacks which will hit in rapid succession.
- WEAPON CAPABLE: You can wield your weapon somewhat, if you used it in battle you can wield it with a capable level of proficency.
ALL ABILITIES FURTHER REQUIRE YOU TO COMPLETE THE DOOR TEST IN ORDER TO ADVANCE.
fisherman - WEAPON TECHNICIAN: Using weapons is rather easy for you and your ability with wielding a variety of weapons is great.

- MULTIPLE STRIKES: A second level technique which involves quickly and harshly striking enemies at least 10 times in quick succession. Each attack is decently powerful and can deal plenty of damage, whether it be fists or with a weapon this attack can overwhelm an enemy though can only be used a few times a battle at most.
[REQUIRES ATTACK VOLLEY]
- ADVANCED PHYSICAL COMBAT: A skill which involves being able to hold your own without the use of weapons and being able to fight with your hands and feet. Most of the time this person will be able to disarm enemies as well which makes this an avantage in many ways.
[REQUIRES BASIC PHYSICAL COMBAT]
- POWERFUL BLOW: This allows you a single attack which is much stronger than a normal humans blow and can easily beat even those who use a STRONG ATTACK.
[REQUIRES ENHANCED STRENGTH AND STRONG ATTACK]
- QUICK ATTACK: A single strike where the user uses great speed in order to make a quick attack which normal humans wouldn't be able to defend against easily. Twice per battle.
[REQUIRES ENHANCED SPEED AND FIRST STRIKE]
- GREATER PHYSICAL RESISTANCE: Your physical resistance is great enough to take on a large number of hits and your defenses are generally speaking pretty good.
[REQUIRES ENHANCED PHYSICAL RESISTANCE]
- GREAT STRENGTH: Your strength can be employed to throw objects long distances with great accuracy and you can pick up large objects without too much trouble.
[REQUIRES ENHANCED STRENGTH]
- SIMPLE COUNTER: A basic technique which can be used in response to any incoming attack and can intercept other LVL 1 attacks at close range (First Strike, Strong Attack). This technique takes the weight of the user and uses it against them to create a powerful counter attack.
scout - EVASION: The user can easily evade two attacks and can dodge techniques of the same level with relative amount of ease. These are auto dodge for simple or LVL 1 attacks.

- E-RANK OBSERVER: These are small orbs that collect visual data and pass the information on to both the Scout himself and also to allied Light Bearers, who in turn analyze these data and coordinate their own team accordingly. They are also able to illuminate the darkness.
- GREAT SPEED: You can move very quickly, a normal human wouldn't have a prayer to keep up with you.

- QUICK ATTACK: A single strike where the user uses great speed in order to make a quick attack which normal humans wouldn't be able to defend against easily. Twice per battle.
[REQUIRES ENHANCED SPEED AND FIRST STRIKE]
- BLACK FISH LVL 1: A technique which requires but a single room and allows the scout to blend in with the darkness and become more or less invisible to the lights of the Lighthouses. Can only protect them from detection for a single post.

- LOCK-ON LVL 1: A technique where the user is able to pin point their target and hit them spot on. If the target is aware they are there dodging would still be difficult since the attack is meant to be percise, can be used once per battle.

- ONE ROOM SPEAR: By concentrating their power with a single room, they are able to create a somewhat dense spear which they can throw at enemies. This is useful because in theory they are able to create an infinite arsenal.

- GREATER PHYSICAL RESISTANCE: Your physical resistance is great enough to take on a large number of hits and your defenses are generally speaking pretty good.

- ONE ROOM BARRIER: A shinsoo technique which is able to create a thin barrier which protects the user from a single shinsoo related technique which is also made with a single room.
[REQUIRES ONE ROOM CONTROL]
- GREATER SHINSOO RESISTANCE: The user has an impressive resistance to being attacked when they come into contact with Shinsoo.
[REQUIRES ENHANCED SHINSOO RESISTANCE]
- FLOW CONTROL LVL 1: A technique where three lighthouses hover over an enemy or enemies and trap them in a barrier made out of Shinsoo. This technique can hold enemies down unless they were to use three techniques of the first level or two techniques of the second level.
[REQUIRES ONE ROOM CONTROL] [REQUIRES THREE LIGHTHOUSES]
[/b][/color] wave controller - SHINSOO BLAST LVL 1: The user will create a blast of concentrated shinsoo which can be used to knock enemies onto their feet as well as cause some damage to them but it won't severely injure anyone.
[REQUIRES ONE ROOM CONTROL]
- SHINSOO BLAST LVL 2: Using the same principle as before, the user blasts the enemy with a single straightforward blast of concentrated shinsoo, could deal a decent amount of injury if done at a close range.
[REQUIRES SHINSOO BLAST LVL 1]
- SHINSOO HEALING LVL 1: By using Shinsoo to heal another person, you are able to heal their injuries, unfortunately with only being a weak version you can only heal small cuts and bruises.
[REQUIRES ONE ROOM CONTROL]
- SHINSOO HEALING LVL 2: By using this technique, the user is able to heal some more serious injuries like a sprained ankle or a pulled tendon as well as more severe cuts and blunt damage, could also cure some poisons.
[REQUIRES SHINSOO HEALING LVL 1]
- SHINSOO THREAD: A basic shinosoo technique where a person extends a bang over a longer area in order to make a thread out of Shinsoo. This can be used to throw things but at this level could never lift of support a person, it can be used to slingshot small items as well as maybe trip a person.
[REQUIRES ONE ROOM CONTROL]
- ETERNAL WARRIOR LVL 1: By imploring the usage of your single shinsoo room, you may cast this on yourself or a team mate. What this does is heals injuries as a battle progresses and while only able to stay on someone for three posts can auto-heal small injuries as well as numb pain. This allows the user to fight at a higher level of power but does not heal fatigue.
